Dr. Rahul Bhargava is currently working at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon, as the Head of the Hemato Oncology and Bone marrow Transplant Department. He has more than 20 years of experience in haematology and Hemato-oncology. He has performed more than 1,100 bone marrow transplants.
He has worked in Vancouver, Canada and received training in umbilical cord transplantation. He completed his MBBS and M.D. studies at Barkatullah University, Bhopal, M P, India. He has even earned a D.M. (Hematology) from the All India Institute Of Medical Science.
In 2016, he became the first Indian doctor to popularise stem cell Transplants for multiple sclerosis patients. He has even established eight stem cell Transplant centres at low cost in India.
